How to use posture brace effectively

 



🧍♂️ How to Put On Your Posture Corrector Brace


Step 1: Unpack and Unfasten

  • Take the posture brace out of the packaging.

  • Unfasten all the Velcro straps so the brace is open and flat.


Step 2: Put on Like a Backpack

  • Slip your arms through the shoulder straps as if you're putting on a backpack.

  • The padded part should rest between your shoulder blades.

  • Make sure the back panel is centered and lies flat against your upper back.


Step 3: Adjust the Shoulder Straps

  • Pull the shoulder straps down and forward under your arms.

  • Adjust them to gently pull your shoulders back.

  • The straps should be snug, but not too tight — you want to correct your posture, not restrict breathing.


Step 4: Secure the Lower Belt

  • Wrap the lower waist belt (lumbar support section) around your waist.

  • Fasten the Velcro in front of your abdomen.

  • Ensure it supports your lower back without digging in.


Step 5: Check Alignment

  • Stand in front of a mirror and check that:

    • Your shoulders are pulled back comfortably.

    • The straps lie flat (not twisted).

    • The brace doesn’t pinch or cause discomfort.


Step 6: Wear Gradually

  • Start with 20–30 minutes per day.

  • Gradually increase wear time by 10–15 minutes each day.

  • Your muscles will build memory, helping improve posture over time.


Tips:

  • Wear over a thin shirt to avoid skin irritation.

  • Don’t overtighten — this can cause tension or restrict circulation.

  • Clean it according to manufacturer's instructions (hand wash and air dry).
